Located on the North Shore of Lagoa de Óbidos, Escola de Vela da Lagoa is in a privileged place to practice water sports in complete safety. Surrounded by exuberant nature, we have been teaching sailing and water sports since 1997. At EVL you will find everything you need to dedicate yourself to the following modalities, Windsurfing, Sailing, Kitesurfing, Foil, Wing, and on days without wind, Canoeing and Stand Up Paddle.
The School is located about 80 km from Lisbon, and although we dedicate ourselves entirely to practices in Lagoa d´Óbidos, a short distance to the south is Peniche, a surfing mecca in Portugal and to the north the giant waves of Nazaré. .

Escola de Vela is proud to offer an exceptional service in the teaching of nautical sports, having as main focus the stages of introduction and exploratory development of our disciplines. On site, you will find in our facilities, a restaurant with light meals, an equipment repair workshop, changing rooms, a fleet of rescue boats and even a lounging area. All of this, one step away from the lagoon.
